Headaches & Migraines

Poor posture, stress, and other factors can all lead to muscle and joint weakness, strain, and injury in the neck. Depending on the area of the body, the pain may radiate through the scalp, the side of the head, or even the forehead.

Headaches are among the most commonly reported causes of pain, which also means we’ve been given plenty of experience in treating different types.

Common headache types are tension headaches, migraines, and cervicogenic headaches. Many are related to tightness in the neck, affecting the upper vertebrae of the neck. These headaches may occur as a result of poor posture, concussion, arthritis, work-related strains, and of course stress or psychosomatic factors. Posture and behavioral patterns are often triggers for headaches.
