What We Treat
We are experienced in a wide variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular dysfunctions both acute and chronic. We are experts in identifying the ‘unknown’ cause of symptoms, as well as treating more common injuries, or movement & gait dysfunctions. Common conditions include: running injuries, chronic pain, posture dysfunctions, arthritis, spine & disc injuries, rotator cuff injuries, headaches.
Injuries & High Performance
Running, Golf Swing Mechanics, Dance, Sports Injuries

We are successful in treating a variety of sports injuries and getting our patients back to playing or competing without increased risk of re-injury. We are able to analyze your biomechanics during running, jumping, swinging, throwing, etc. and identify where the dysfunctional movement or limitation is. You will then learn to alter your mechanics or to improve your range of motion and coordination so that you’re able to return to your original bio-mechanics safely.
Spine, TMJ, Pelvic Floor
Headaches, TMJ, Neck, Back, Sciatica, Pelvic Floor

A lot of head, jaw, and spine issues are caused by behavioral patterns that we will help you identify, then alter or eliminate, to decrease the source of symptoms. Alleviate stiffness, joint pain, neural tension, and nerve compression with hands-on mobilization techniques plus movement reeducation that will eliminate unwanted tension and restore proper range of movement.

Pelvic floor dysfunctions are treated through a variety of visceral mobilizations and coordinated corrective exercise techniques that help restore balance and strength to the pelvic floor muscles. We are successful at using noninvasive hands-on techniques that allow us to pinpoint restrictions by gently pressing from your skin.

Extremities
Shoulder, Elbow, Hip, Knee, Foot & Ankle Pain

A lot of impingement, joint, and rotator cuff issues are caused by asymmetries between the left and right, or front and back, side of your body that leads to dysfunctional movement patterns. Over time repetitive movements create strain that eventually leads to pain or a sudden injury. We will identify your asymmetries then restore balance & alignment throughout your body and the way you move.
Chronic Pain, Balance, & Gait
Loss of Balance, Falls, Gait Dysfunction, Posture

Chronic pain doesn’t have to be permanent. Protective movement patterns create unwanted tension that causes increased friction in your joints leading to pain with movement – this typically leads to asymmetrical gait patterns or severe forward lean.

Learn to release tension and lengthen your ‘stuck’ muscles & joints to be able to move the way your body was designed to move again. We use similar principles to relearn proper posture, improve upright walking, and restore balance and proprioceptive deficits.
