How We Treat
You can think of us as movement & anatomy experts, we’ll figure out why your body isn’t moving the way it was meant to and then correct it with a combination of techniques including alignment, mobility, hands on mobilizations & myofascial release, stability training.
We utilize a combination of evidence based hands-on techniques and non-traditional active/movement techniques that are customized to you every session. We also create a blend of Yoga, Pilates, and Feldenkrais techniques that are proven effective at any ability level.

Manual Therapy/Bodywork
Your ‘hands-on’ experience includes a combination of techniques where your physical therapist will use his/her hands to feel for tension and dysfunction through different layers of your muscles and fascia. We are able to quickly identify dysfunction in areas of your body that require physical mobilization in order to restore proper function.

Manual treatment methods include: trigger point release, functional mobilizations, myofascial release, neural mobilization, joint mobilization, craniosacral therapy, manually resisted proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.
Feldenkrais Method
Through a combination of gentle touch and movement exercises, the Feldenkrais Method helps us recognize these dysfunctional patterns of movement and affect changes that allow us to move more efficiently and effortlessly and achieve a sense of physical and emotional well-being. Chronic pain or recurring injuries are often caused or aggravated by bad habits in our posture, gait, the way we work or play sports, and everyday routines.

Yoga Wall
Back Pain & Sciatica, Foot & Ankle Pain, Hip and Knee Pain, Balance & Gait Disorders
Based on BKS Iyengar’s principles of alignment, ‘the wall’ is used as a prop to deepen asana by opening and creating space in the body. Gravity is appreciated and utilized as a natural form of either assistance to movement. Lengthening & decompression of your spine becomes easy with partial or fully supported inversions. using therapeutic techniques. Gravity can also be used as resistance in any plane by altering our body positions to perform strengthening poses and movements.
Corrective Exercise/Stretching
Muscle imbalances, movement compensations, and protective mechanisms occur over time from behavioral patterns (like sitting at a desk everyday for a few years), or following an injury. Corrective stretching involves specific movements targeted to lengthen shortened muscles, restore imbalances/asymmetries, improve posture, improve strength potential, and alleviate pain.
